Louis-Marie develops data-driven gap filling and spatio-temporal filtering techniques to improve the spatial resolution and reduce the noise content of the GRACE and GRACE-FO satellite measurements of the Earth's Gravity field. He also develops methods for retrieving regional mass balance from the GRACE and GRACE-FO observations, and validation through comparison with independent satellite or in-situ measurements. This work is the foundation to estimate the ice mass balance of smaller glaciers from GRACE and GRACE-FO. Louis-Marie Gauer
